Versailles was incredible. I could spend hours and hours in those gardens.
And on to Roland Garros.
We not only got into to the (sold out) French Open without tickets but we somehow found ourselves in the player's lounge with the players and their family and friends. After asking hundreds of people for extra tickets (lowest price we could find being 200 euros), Talmadge got in through the VIP entrance by making a friend in there. Later Noah walked right in with the baby strapped on through that same entrance packed with guards and no one gave them a second look. Anita and I just stood there, outside the gates, with our mouths and eyes wide open. There was no way we were going to follow them in there. A. because we of course would get stopped. and B. because we are too chicken. Tal told us to "talk to my friend Sedrick" over in VIP land and he would let us in. We just laughed at that. Good luck getting through door number 1 with 6 guards before we can even think about looking for "your friend Sedrick." So instead while they were in there they managed to get 2 unused tickets for Anita and me given to them (one being the family and friends pass). I seriously don't know how they do it. But fun was had by all.

The whole French Open scenario is SO TOTALLY EYRE! Classic.
Pretty much as cool as all of us scoring front row tickets to Wicked the night we arrived in NYC with you guys (we still talk about that and how you and Noah handed over your other ticket to us).
this post is awesome. first, noah's style is absolutely genetic - comes from his dad. that's perfect. second, the sneaking into stuff - it's like an uncontrollable disease. eyres can't get it out of their systems! the thing i love most about it is that noah and tal aren't exactly conspicuous to just sneak into stuff - they are really tall. and, they have the style genes of their dad, which doesn't help. hahaha! love you kristi!!! can't wait for you guys to get to california!!!
Love seeing these pics and your description is to die for! So is the picture of Noah changing Jacobson's diaper on the lawn at Versaille! That is a classic! How fun to see our old familiar haunts after being there last year!
Fun stuff!
